Funny ways to do household chores?

For a spanish video, we need to do chores and speak in Spanish. Any funny ideas?

Our idea is a couple of kids turning their house into a Bed and Breakfast while their parents are out of town. We have to clean the house and then get ready for the customers to come. Soon the parents head home because of a delayed flight and the kids have to clean up the house again before their parents get home and find out.

So, any funny ideas for the video?

I was thinking of cutting the grass with scissors (for example.)

Standard 'old school' visual comedy:

Iron the curtains.

Sweep large items under rugs.

Cram a closet full to bursting.

Pretend to wash the dishes and have each clean dish passed through an inspection process.

Draw straws for who cleans the teenage boy's room. Loser does it.

Make a bed with someone already in it.

Use a make up brush to dust furniture, someone formally dressed could pull out a small handkerchief and start wiping things frantically, when sweeping the floor - instead of picking up the dust %26amp; trashy .. how about just cover it up with a carpet.
How about doing an "Amelia Bedelia" thing, where dusting the furniture is literally putting dust ON the furniture, or drawing the drapes means getting out a pencil and paper, or dressing the turkey involves formal attire...Lots of room to play with this one. Good luck with your movie...gonna put it on youtube?
